What are Ausome Playdates? They are smaller gatherings where the whole family is invited to come. These are great opportunities for your autistic child to socialize and for you to connect with other caregivers. Some of the outings will be free, others will have additional costs. Our goal is to have 5-7 playdates a year with a variety of activities, so your child is sure to have lots of fun! Dates and times will vary. All ages are welcome.
If you have additional questions or to learn more about upcoming playdate opportunities, please contact Amanda Ramsey at aramsey@myautismally.org

This is a support group for kids/teens (7 years - high school seniors) that have a brother or sister with disabilities/special health concerns. This is an opportunity to meet peers in a fun filled day of activities, where they can explore joys and concerns of having a sibling with these special needs and how others handle similar situations. This group usually meets at Hope’s Harbor, 7922 W Jefferson Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 from 10am - 1pm and from 1pm -3pm depending on the age group.
While providing and receiving the peer support, they are empowered to find ways to cope with the challenges they face regularly. This group also gives resources and tools to help them better deal with situations involving their sibling, as well as focus on strengthening the connection and well-being of the family member that will most likely have the longest-lasting relationship with a special needs child/sibling.
Please make checks or money orders payable to Easterseals Arc. Registration fees are non-refundable. Scholarships available upon request. T-shirts are available in children’s sizes: medium (10/12) or large (14/16), and adult sizes: small, medium, or large.
